THE PEACE CENTER FOR CULTURE AND KNOWLEDGE

ABOUT US

Welcome to Peace Center for Culture and Knowledge-PCCK, a beacon of hope for a brighter future, rooted in the timeless wisdom of Islam. Our mission is to revive the pristine Islamic tradition, grounded in the Quran, the authentic Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and the understanding of his noble Companions and their successors.

As a team of highly educated and passionate individuals, having graduated from esteemed institutions like Harvard, Wharton, and learned under scholars from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Africa, Canada, the U.S., and beyond. We believe that knowledge and faith are not mutually exclusive. Our board of directors is blessed with huffaaz of Qur'an with Ijazaats and certifications in multiple narrations and several islamic sciences including fiqh, hadith, tafseer, and Arabic. To us, the pursuit of knowledge is a sacred duty in Islam, as emphasized by the Prophet's saying, "Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim."

At PCCK, we strive to empower a generation of Muslims who embody the perfect balance between modern education and traditional Islamic values. Our team actively teaches Qur’an and its sciences, Arabic, hadith, and core Islamic texts (mutoon), both virtually and in-person, with students successfully completing structured study paths . We believe that literacy, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity are essential tools for building a better future, not just for Muslims but for humanity as a whole.

Our commitment to service is just as strong. Through initiatives like Feeding the Poor, and regular distribution of food and essentials, we work to uplift the most vulnerable among us.

Our approach is built on the following principles:

Reviving the Islamic tradition

We draw inspiration from the rich heritage of Islamic scholarship, while ensuring its compatibility with modern values and challenges.

Emphasizing education

We prioritize education as a means to empower individuals, communities, and societies, in line with the Islamic emphasis on knowledge and wisdom.

Nurturing a balanced identity

We foster a sense of Muslim identity that is proud of its heritage, yet engaged with the world, and committed to making a positive impact.

Through our programs, initiatives, and community outreach, we aim to:

Develop critical thinkers

Who can navigate the complexities of the modern world while remaining true to their Islamic values.

Foster a culture of literacy

That encourages reading, writing, and intellectual exploration, as a means to personal growth and community development.

Build bridges

Between different communities and cultures, promoting understanding and cooperation upon righteousness and piety.

Charitable action

By engaging in volunteer work, community outreach, and direct support for those in need, we transform compassion into tangible impact.

Why this project?

The Story of Abdullah

Over three decades ago in Epe, Nigeria, a young boy named Abdullah was enrolled in the best school his mother could find—one rooted in Catholic tradition. Though he excelled academically, the environment nearly cost him his Islamic identity. It wasn’t until a pivotal encounter with his uncle—who taught him the meaning of Tawheed—that Abdullah’s path changed. He went on to memorize the Qur’an, earn a PhD in the United States, and dedicate his life to ensuring that no Muslim child must ever choose between academic excellence and their faith.

Abdullah's story is not just personal—it's a mission. A mission to build The Peace Center for Culture and Knowledge, a sanctuary where young Muslims can grow intellectually and spiritually, rooted in both world-class education and deep Islamic values.
